UNLV Lineman Ryan unexpectdly Dies at 20

On Monday, UNLV's football program lost one of their own when defensive lineman Ryan Keeler passed away at the age of 20.

Keeler's death has left his family and close ones in shock.

The cause of Keeler's death is still pending as the Clark County coroner's office is waiting on toxicology results.

The Las Vegas Police Department has also launched an investigation into his death.

stating, "While I had the honor of knowing Ryan for only a couple of months,

Keeler transferred to UNLV from Rutgers University ahead of the 2022 season. He played in seven games,

where he had eight tackles and a sack against Air Force on Oct. 15.

Odom was later hired in December to become the team's new head coach. UNLV ended the season with a 5-7 record.

Keeler was a 6-foot-6, 275-pound defensive lineman from Chicago and was a three-star recruit in the class of 2021.
